The Comedian
Will Thomas has been making people laugh since before he knew it was a skill worth developing. Growing up in the DMV, he was the kid in the room who always had something to say — usually something that made everyone else wish they'd said it first.
He found his way to standup the way most comedians do: gradually, then all at once. His style is observational and self-aware, grounded in everyday life and the particular absurdity of being a person in the world. He doesn't punch down. He finds the thing everyone's already thinking and says it out loud — usually with better timing than anyone expected.
The clips below span more than a decade of stage time. The jokes have gotten sharper. The crowd work has gotten better. The cigar is a recent development.
